We were delighted to win the project to work on the new graduate careers website for central London law firm McGrigors this summer. As one of the leading law firms in the capital it was a really good opportunity for us to showcase our work and come up with a creative solution to fit the clients requirements.
The concept is for graduates to decide if they are McGrigors or not – simple really, an honest approach to graduate recruitment, and hopefully that comes across in the website.
We used the JQuery JavaScript framework to put the splash page together on entering the site, allowing the user to answer some basic questions with non-obtrusive popup windows being displayed to give the reasons as to whether their answers mean they are McGrogors or not! A bit of fun, and it sets the tone for the site, and the company.
Big, bold, and above all, honest, this site also brings a touch of fun to an otherwise serious subject of graduate recruitment. Little things like the colour scheme changing everyday showcases McGrigors as a law firm that looks upon the industry slightly differently, and we absolutely love them for it :)
